Research shows that in families where domestic violence is present, child maltreatment frequently occurs as well, making children in these homes significantly more vulnerable.

More than 106,000 domestic violence crimes were reported to Florida law enforcement in a single year, impacting thousands of families and children across the state.

Statistics from the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence

1 in 15 children are exposed to intimate partner violence each year, and 90% of these children witness these instances at home.
